Atlanta Turned Into the Caribbean on Memorial Day Weekend!
Atlanta Caribbean Carnival 2025 | Saturday, May 24 | Peachtree St to Rodney Cook Sr. Park
What a vibes-filled weekend it was in the heart of Atlanta! On Saturday, May 24th, the 2025 Atlanta Caribbean Carnival brought the rhythm, the colors, and the culture to the streets with an epic celebration that lit up the city from Peachtree Street to Rodney Cook Sr. Park in Historic Vine City.
Thousands lined the parade route as masqueraders from top bands like Calabash Alley Masqueraders, Inferno, Madd Colors, Virgin Islands Majorettes, Savage Mas Carnival, and Reggaematic Mass Band painted the streets with feathers, flags, sequins, and undeniable joy. The energy? Electric!
At Rodney Cook Sr. Park, the Carnival Village was nothing short of a Caribbean utopia. With over 10,000 revelers, the park pulsed with live performances from Caribbean and African superstars including Nessa Preppy, Motto, Trilla-G, D’Angel, Skinny Fabulous, Olatunji, Kiprich and more, shelling down the stage with hit after hit.
Holding it all together with nonstop vibes and charisma was the one and only Wassy, the big magical Jamaican voice that kept the crowd soaring high!
