Black History Month Parade 2016

On Saturday February 27th Caribbean Focus TV covered the 2016 Black History Month Parade. This year, the Caribbean community made a big impact in participating in this year parade, as they proudly display their flags. The location to the event was at the Historic Martin Luther King Jr. Sweet Auburn District, Downtown Atlanta, Georgia. The parade began at the King Center National Park and ended at Woodruff Park where vendor booths surrounded the park showcasing inspired attributes of Black American heritage, art, culture, and history. The Black History Month Parade was first produced by Earl Little in 2011 and has become the largest celebrations of African-American History Month in America. Mr. Little later passed on November 3rd in 2015. May his legacy continue to live on. We pride to share with you some of the photographs from the event.
